Description
The A117 short drill is made from premium High Speed Cobalt. Available in a wide range of metric diameters, it is also available in some of the more popular fractional sizes. It is recommended for use in difficult materials and application and particularly for tool steels. The A117 has a 135 degree split point which makes self-centering easier and also means less force is needed to drill the hole. The A117 has a bronze oxide finish which stops work piece material from sticking to the cutting edge. The A117 drill can be relied on to produce a more accurate hole size and a better finish. *Note: drills up to 1.5mm have 118? point.
