The A130 has a tapered shank to provide a better grip when holding the drill in the machine. It comes in a very wide range of diameters in both fractional and metric sizes and includes larger size diameters ? up to 3 inches and 100.00 mm. It has a conventional 118 degree point providing strength and making it easy to regrind. All A130 drills come with the patented Dormer Silver Ring which gives you the reassurance it is a genuine Dormer drill. The diameter of the drill is also etched onto the silver ring which makes it easy to find. The A130 has a steam oxide finish to prevent workpiece material from sticking to the cutting edge and is made from premium High Speed steel, suitable for drilling many materials including steels, aluminium and stainless steels. The A130 is a very versatile product and can be used in machine applications where the drill is held directly in the spindle. *Note - point thinned only above 14.0mm
