Dormer?s A510 drill is available in a range of fractional and metric diameters. The drills have a 130 degree thinned point which aids self-centering and reduces the force needed when drilling a hole. The drills have a titanium nitride coating which increases the life of the drill and improves performance when drilling harder materials. The specially designed convex cutting edges on the A510 help break chips more easily so cut material is removed more quickly and you can increase cutting speeds and feeds, with a corresponding reduction in machining times. Made from premium High speed material, the A510 can be used for drilling many materials including steels, aluminium and stainless steels. The A510 is a high performance drill and is able to produce accurate, high quality holes (h9 tolerance), even when operating at high speeds and feeds.
