The A900 from Dormer is one of our PFX range of drills. These drill have a special parabolic flute design which means you can drill deep holes in a single pass ? no more need for ?pecking?. The 130 degree point angle helps to self-center the drill and also means less force is needed to penetrate the workpiece material. The A900 comes with a bright finish to prevent workpiece material from sticking to the cutting edge and is made from High Speed cobalt so can be used for drilling a number of materials including stainless steels, aluminium and other steels. Available in a large range of fractional and metric diameters, the A900 PFX drill is a high performance tool and is capable of producing high quality and accurate holes (H10 hole tolerance) even at high speeds and feeds.
