The A940 long series PFX drill from Dormer comes in a range of fractional and metric diameters. The special parabolic flute design means you can drill extra deep holes in a single pass whilst the 130 degree point angle helps with self-centering - no more wandering over the workpiece surface trying to start the hole - and also reduces the amount of force needed to drill into the workpiece. The A920 is manufactured from High Speed cobalt so the tool can be used to machine many materials including steels, stainless steels and aluminium, and has a bright finish to stop workpiece material from sticking to the cutting edges of the tool. The high performance A940 PFX drill is capable of producing high quality and accurate holes (to H10 hole tolerance) even at high speeds and feeds.
