Description
Dormer?s E016 machine taps are for tapping metric fine threads. They come with a spiral point, for threading through holes (holes which go all the way through the material) and have a steam tempered finish to stop workpiece material from sticking to the cutting edges of the tool so you can be sure of clean, accurate threads. The powder metal High Speed cobalt used in manufacture provides longer tool life combined with great performance, and the taps are very versatile, being suitable for tapping many materials, including steels, stainless steels and aluminium. E008 machine taps for metric fine threads are manufactured to ANSI standards.
