Dormer?s R520 drills are manufactured from premium carbide and are suitable for drilling a variety of materials including steels, aluminium and cast iron. The drills are capable of producing high quality and accurate holes (H8 hole tolerance), even at high speeds and feeds, which are made possible thanks to the convex cutting edges helping break chips for easy removal. With a 130 degree point to help with self-centering and reduce the force needed to drill into the workpiece, R520 solid carbide drills also have a titanium nitride coating which extends the life of the drill and improves performance when drilling harder materials.
