Description
C246 4-flute milling cutters from Dormer can be used for plunging, ramping and profile milling in steels, stainless steels and cast iron. They are manufactured from powder metal High Speed cobalt which means you will get great performance coupled with a longer tool life, and have a robust design which means they are equally suitable for both slotting and profile milling. The titanium carbo nitride coating further increases the life of the cutter and improves performance when milling hard and abrasive materials. The high rigidity as a result of the medium length flute design is ideal for general profile milling applications.
