Description
The rigid straight flute design of the RT150 GG provides straight and accurate hole locations with excellent surface quality. Coolant fed for high penetration rates in deep hole applications, the RT150 GG is designed to cut short chipping materials such as cast aluminum (> 10% silicon content), cast iron and short chipping brass. Guhring offers 2 distinctly different styles. The RT150GG series 768 and 769 drill has a 120 cone relief point and is a best suited for aluminum and short chipping brass applications. The RT150 GG series 6069 and 6070 is designed specifically for cast iron with a unique grade of DK255F wear resistant carbide and a 130ยบ faceted point grind. These tools are recommended for CNC equipment with a minimum of 200 psi coolant pressure.
