Dormer?s R6011 solid carbide, high performance spotting drill will produce high quality and accurate holes (H9 hole tolerance) even when operating at high speeds and feeds. The titanium aluminium nitride coating greatly improves performance when drilling harder materials and also extends the life of the tool, whilst the 90 degree point angle helps with self-centering for an accurately located hole and also reduces the push force required. With a point angle designed to provide precise chamfering to accommodate standard screws, R6011 carbide spotting drills are manufactured from premium carbide and can be used to drill a wide range of materials including steels, stainless steels and aluminium.
