Description
Manufactured from High Speed cobalt for excellent performance, tool strength and wear resistance, C609 roughing end mills are suitable for roughing when plunging, ramping and profile milling in steels, cast iron and stainless steels. They have a 30 degree helix to improve performance and reduce vibration when used in CNC machines and a standard flute length with a fine pitch profile which will break chips for greater efficiency in roughing applications. C609 roughing end mills come with a titanium carbo nitride coating which increases the life of the cutter and improves performance when milling hard and abrasive materials.
